About Me - My Teaching Journey

March 15, 2026 By Orman Dolores Soledad

Language has always been more than a subject to me—it has been a bridge between cultures, opportunities, and people.

I graduated in English and Spanish Philology and Sociology, fields that shaped both my linguistic expertise and my understanding of how people learn, communicate, and develop professionally.

My teaching journey officially began in 2009, but my passion for education started much earlier. Growing up in a family of teachers, I witnessed first-hand what dedication to education truly means. I saw the commitment, the patience, and the satisfaction that comes from helping students reach their goals. Those experiences inspired me to follow the same path and dedicate my career to helping others grow through language.

Over the years, teaching has become much more than a profession—it has become my mission.

Teaching Across Cultures

Since 2014, I have been teaching online, working with learners from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds. My classroom quickly expanded beyond borders, allowing me to collaborate with students from:

  • Romania
  • Japan
  • China
  • Germany
  • The United States
  • Spain
  • ...and other international communities.

Working with people from different cultures has deeply influenced my teaching philosophy. Each learner brings unique goals, experiences, and communication needs. Because of this, I strongly believe that language learning must always be personalized and practical.

Through DoloreSpeak, I help students develop real communication skills in:

  • Business English
  • English for professional communication
  • Spanish
  • Romanian for expats

Why I Teach

For me, teaching is about transformation.

  • It is about seeing a student who once hesitated to speak confidently present their ideas in a meeting.
  • It is about helping professionals unlock international career opportunities.
  • It is about giving people the confidence to express themselves clearly and authentically.

Every student arrives with a goal—whether it is advancing in their career, relocating to another country, or communicating more effectively in an international environment. My role is to guide them toward that goal with structure, support, and expertise.

The SPARK Method

To ensure consistent progress, I use a structured approach called The SPARK Method, which focuses on practical communication and continuous improvement.

S — Speak Students actively use the language from the very beginning. Speaking is at the core of every lesson.

P — Practice Language becomes natural through consistent practice using realistic conversations and professional scenarios.

A — Assess Progress is regularly evaluated to identify strengths and areas for improvement.

R — Report Students receive clear feedback and progress insights so they can understand their development and next learning steps.

K — Keep Improving Learning a language is an ongoing journey. Each lesson builds on the previous one, helping students grow with confidence and consistency.

A Commitment to My Students

With over 16 years of teaching experience, I remain dedicated to helping learners communicate clearly and confidently in an international environment.

At DoloreSpeak, my goal is simple: to create a learning experience that is personalized, practical, and results-driven.

Language is not just about grammar or vocabulary—it is about connection, opportunity, and growth. And I am proud to guide my students on that journey.

Learning Beyond the Screen

While my teaching journey has been largely shaped by online education and international collaboration, I strongly believe that language learning also thrives in meaningful human connection.

Because many of my students in Brașov expressed a strong desire to meet and practice languages in a more personal setting, I decided to introduce face-to-face sessions in a relaxed and inspiring environment.

Some of these classes take place at Connect Specialty Coffee, a welcoming space where the atmosphere naturally encourages conversation, creativity, and authentic communication.

The combination of excellent coffee, a warm atmosphere, and engaging discussions creates the perfect setting for language learning. In this environment, students feel comfortable speaking, sharing ideas, and practicing language in a natural and enjoyable way.

These sessions transform language learning into more than a lesson—it becomes a social, cultural, and intellectually stimulating experience.
